Cross-country courses in Val Gardena - cross-country skiing in the Dolomites. The well-known cross-country skiing runs of Monte Pana, Vallunga and Alpe di Siusi offer perfectly groomed trails of different levels of difficulty. Cross-country skiing is also a welcome alternative to the stress of everyday life. This sport is recommended not only to keep fit but also to spend some carefree hours outdoors. In Val Gardena there are three different cross-country skiing centres. The Vallunga centre in Selva, with 12 km of cross-country courses is located in the Puez-Odle Natural Park and is a true highlight because of the beautiful snow-covered landscape.
The second centre is located on the high plateau of Monte Pana in S. Cristina. This is often considered a real challenge even for professional cross-country skiers. The third and largest centre is located on the Alpe di Siusi, the largest high plateau in Europe, and is famous for its extraordinary views of the Dolomites and its 60 kilometres of tracks.
